The are many reasons an individual chooses to use a pseudonym. The Wikipedia entry for nom de plume says: “Authors may use a pen name to replace a long, difficult, or uninteresting name, or a name likely to be confused with the name of another writer or notable individual, or avoid overexposure.” My reasons are none of these, although I’m sure some may deem my name uninteresting. I actually find a kind of excitement in hiding behind a description of an imaginary surrealist object. I can post just about anything on this blog without the worry of someone linking me to what at the time seemed like a good idea, and now has turned into a blasphemous, slanderous soliloquy about something or someone. Actually who knows, maybe over time, I’ll start to reveal little things about the real me…drop hints…clues…clue-ish hints. Heck, maybe I’ll screw up and blow it during the first week of posting. I guess it doesn’t really matter because those of you reading this are probably doing so because I sent you the link.
Anyway, expect many great things here. Expect many not so great things here. Thoughts and Ideas..in the form of–yes, you guessed it–Audio, Video, Images and Words.
Some of these thoughts and ideas will be quite meaningless and all of them will be random.
Every once in a while the content might actually prove to be relevant, but most likely not.
Anyway, enjoy the great balancing act of the telepathic unicycle as it pedals frenetically around the dusty corners of my mind! Or something like that.
