The first in a series of firsts…(and 1001 other clichés.)
That should really be the title of this post.
So here it is. Here I am. “My first blog.”
Sounds like something Fisher Price® will release just in time for the holiday gift-buying frenzy.
Anyway, as the title of this post suggests, this is the first one of these things and as such it is the one that carries upon its shoulders the heaviest burden. There is a lot of pressure with starting something new. The first book of a trilogy better be good or no one is going to read the second in the series, let alone the third. If a “first date” is unbearable, it will most certainly be the last. If the first term of public office isn’t productive, fat chance that the official will be re-elected. Oh wait…forget that example.
Anyway, instead of trying to serve up some fantastically heavy dose of wit in this my first post on the last day of November 2007, I’ll just say a few things and get it over with.
I hope you will bookmark my site and return often…for this will be my little dumping ground for all things that float around inside my little mind. I don’t know if I will be able to do my rambles daily, but I’ll try to throw stuff up here often. For those of you who know me, they will probably not make sense. For those of you who don’t, maybe they will. For those of you who think you know me–ha ha. Actually, you probably do know me so see the previous section in which I mention stuff about things probably not making sense and all. For those of you who want to know me…wait who am I kidding? 4 people are going see this site.
